Each line is placed on its Schedule III line, Division I or Division II (Ind AS) as the statements' wording reads, keeping the company's own wording. Anything that can't be placed sits in an Unmapped section, still counted in the totals, so nothing quietly disappears.
Checks you can see
Every subtotal is footed and the balance sheet tested. Figures that don't tie are coloured and noted, and listed on a Checks sheet. On text PDFs, a figure that isn't in the document is named, never passed through.
Several years, side by side
Save each year's accounts to an engagement and download one comparatives workbook. Periods line up across years, restated comparatives are flagged, and each document's units are recorded.
Notes and scans
The notes a statement cites are extracted and tied to the face figure. Scanned pages are read from images, and any column that doesn't add up is read a second time.
